Our school ranked in the top 150 in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, placing 114th in the state.
We also recorded 99 Distinguished Achievers and 1 All Rounder.
Marist College Eastwood Principal Silvana Rossetti congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic effort and achievements.

“With 94% of subjects above the State average and a top ATAR of 99.05, this cohort has not only excelled academically but also demonstrated a well-rounded commitment to College life”.

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM
Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 HSC with 13 of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 150 high schools in NSW.
SCS recorded an impressive 2819 Distinguished Achievers, 42 Top Achievers and 45 All Rounders.
Notably, eight SCS students received HSC First in Course honours.
SCS students also completed 1,921 VET courses, and earned 280 HSC Showcase Nominations across the Creative and Performing Arts, and Technology and Applied Studies.

- 99 Distinguished Achievers – lists the students who achieved a result in the highest band (Band 6 or Band E4) for one or more courses, not including results for courses studied external to their school
- 1 All Rounder – number of students scoring above 90 in at least 10 units
- 99.05 – top ATAR achieved
- 94% of subject results were above the State average
- 48% of students achieved an ATAR above 85
- 28 VET qualifications were obtained
- 4 nominations for HSC showcases
- Logan Donnelly placed first in Sydney Catholic Schools for Information Processes and Technology
- Ryan Doo placed first in Sydney Catholic Schools for Japanese in Context
