Enrolment applications deadline

Enrolment applications are due before the first week of April, please confirm with our office administration for specific dates. Year 7 submissions are due 2 years prior to commencement (when students are in Year 5).

Interviews

Interviews for placement at our schools, take place once your enrolment submission has been made.

Enrolment offer letters

Enrolment offer letters will be sent no later than the 1st July – Year 7 letters are sent 2 years prior to commencement (when students are in Year 5).

Any student is welcome to join one of our 147 Sydney Catholic schools, regardless of their background. We aim to provide an education for every Catholic child. We welcome all families prepared to respect our Catholic values and beliefs.

Enrolments for Kindergarten are accepted in the year prior for our primary schools and two years prior (when the student is in Year 5) for Year 7 entry. Occasionally, some of our schools may have limited vacancies in some Years (Years 1 -6 and Years 8-12). Please contact our school office to find out more.

The application will save as you progress, you can return to complete the application in stages if you need to.

If English isn’t your first language Google Translate is available in the online application to assist you.

Before getting started save time by having the below documents photographed or scanned and ready:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunisation Certificate
  • Parish Priest reference form (if applicable)
  • A small, recent photo of the student
  • Baptismal and Sacramental Certificate/s (if applicable)
  • Most recent school report (if applicable)
  • Most recent NAPLAN results (if applicable)
  • Evidence of residency status (if applicable)
  • Diverse learning needs assessment (if applicable)
  • Relevant medical information/Clinical assessments (if applicable)

Parish Priest Reference Form

If you and your child are Baptised Catholics who regularly worship at a local Parish you may wish to ask your Parish Priest to complete the Parish Priest reference form. Once you have completed your part of this form please drop it off at the Parish Office for your Parish Priest to complete and he will return the form to the schools.

We note that the Parish Priest reference form is not mandatory and is optional for those parents/carers who are applying for category one consideration in the order of priority.

Baptisimal Certificate

To obtain a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate, you could contact the Church in which your child was baptised, or alternatively, contact your current parish priest and ask for a reference.

Don’t attend Church or have a relationship with a Parish?

Yes, you can enrol your child. All applications are assessed using the Sydney Catholic Schools enrolment policy.

Do I need to know what year I wish to start my child?

Yes, for the application to be complete, we need to know what year you are intending to start your child.

Do I have to put more than one preference in my application?

Applicants will need to enter two schools in order of preference.

How will my application be assessed?

The process all applications to Sydney Catholic Schools are taken through for assessment is laid out in our enrolment policy.

Can I complete a paper application form?

Here is a downloadable version of the application form which you can print out, complete and return to your first school of choice.

How will I know if my child has been accepted?

Enrolment acceptance letters will be issued from 1 July onwards.

What if I am unsuccessful in securing a place for my child at my preferred school?

Your preferred school will contact you to inform your application has been unsuccessful and offer suggestions of neighbouring schools that may have availability. Use the School Finder to learn more about nearby schools.

Can I pay my acceptance fee online?

Your school will send you details about how to pay your enrolment acceptance fee once you have accepted your offer of enrolment.

Is my data safe?

All data you provide online is securely collected and kept confidential to ensure your privacy is protected in line with our Privacy Policy.

We are currently accepting Enrolment Applications for students in Year 5 (for Year 7 in 2026) with interviews commencing shortly. The first round of applications will be closed on 5 April 2024.

Places for Year 7 2025 are full and Enrolment Applications will be placed on our Waiting List. Please be advised that our Waitlist does move and strongly encourage your patience.

If your son is currently in Year 4 (to commence Year 7 in 2027), we encourage you to fill out the Expression of Interest form, which serves as an early indication of your intent to enrol at the College. By doing so, you will be among the first to be notified once the formal application process begins for your required age group.
