The Learning Centre provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes that empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skilful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Learning Centre is part of our flexible learning precinct. The learning environment allows students to learn and study in many different ways. Some students can find learning spaces to collaborate and create, while others can find quiet spaces for private study.

Before and after school, students are able to attend the Learning Centre for quiet study or independent reading; games are not available during these times. After school, students who would like assistance with assessment tasks or homework are able to access support from College staff, who are available until 4:00pm.

This year, the Learning Centre will be open to students during the following hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday and Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

During recess and lunchtime, students are welcome to attend the Learning Centre to complete homework, read a book, or attend the Games Club, where a variety of card and board games are available.
