Mason Park, a Year 9 Visual Arts Elective student, is emerging as an exceptional young artist whose dedication and talent are already evident across multiple prestigious platforms. In addition to his commitment to developing his skills within the classroom, Mason undertakes further training through external art studies, demonstrating a remarkable level of discipline and passion for his craft.

Mason’s achievements to date are outstanding. He has been exhibited at the Mosman Youth Art Prize and the SCS Portrait Prize, has been awarded first place in the Toyota Dream Car Contest, and is currently featured in the Young Archies at the Art Gallery of NSW—an extraordinary accomplishment for an artist of his age. These recognitions reflect not only his technical ability but also his maturity, creativity and evolving artistic voice.

Within his practice, Mason consistently seeks to refine his skills by exploring a wide range of artistic mediums. While oil painting is his current preferred medium, he has also worked extensively with coloured pencil, graphite, watercolour and pen. His willingness to experiment, combined with his thoughtful approach to curating and presenting his work, highlights his commitment to continuous growth as an artist.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mason and wish him every success as he continues his artistic journey. His dedication, curiosity and talent position him as a young artist with a promising future and we look forward to witnessing his continued development and achievements.
