Parish Priest Reference Form
If you and your child are Baptised Catholics who regularly worship at a local Parish you may wish to ask your Parish Priest to complete the Parish Priest reference form. Once you have completed your part of this form please drop it off at the Parish Office for your Parish Priest to complete and he will return the form to the schools.
We note that the Parish Priest reference form is not mandatory and is optional for those parents/carers who are applying for category one consideration in the order of priority.
Baptismal Certificate
To obtain a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate, you could contact the Church in which your child was baptised, or alternatively, contact your current parish priest and ask for a reference.
Don’t attend Church or have a relationship with a Parish?
Yes, you can enrol your child. All applications are assessed using the Sydney Catholic Schools enrolment policy.
Do I need to know what year I wish to start my child?
Yes, for the application to be complete, we need to know what year you are intending to start your child.
Do I have to put more than one preference in my application?
Applicants will need to enter two schools in order of preference.

How will my application be assessed?
Applications are assessed in accordance with the Sydney Catholic Schools Enrolment Policy and the availability of places at the school. Where demand exceeds available places, applications are prioritised according to the enrolment categories.
Can I complete a paper application form?
Here is a downloadable version of the application form which you can print out, complete and return to your first school of choice.
How are enrolment applications prioritised?
Sydney Catholic Schools enrolment applications are assessed according to the Enrolment Policy (refer to 5.0 Criteria) and available places at each school. Priority considerations may include Catholic affiliation, sibling connections, feeder school pathways and other factors outlined in the policy.
Can non-Catholic families apply?
Yes. Sydney Catholic Schools warmly welcomes applications from families of all backgrounds who are willing to support the Catholic values and mission of the school.
What happens after I submit my application?
After submitting your application, the school will review your information and contact you regarding the next steps in the enrolment application process. This may include requests for additional documentation, an interview, or communication regarding the outcome of your application.
What if there are more applications than places available?
In the instance where applications exceed places available in a particular year level, applications are assessed in accordance with the Sydney Catholic Schools Enrolment Policy and enrolment categories.
How will I know if my child has been accepted?
Families will be contacted regarding the outcome of their application. Where an offer of enrolment is made, enrolment offer letters are typically issued from 1 July onwards.
What if I am unsuccessful in securing a place for my child at my preferred school?
Your preferred school will contact you to inform your application has been unsuccessful and offer suggestions of neighbouring schools that may have availability. Use the School Finder to learn more about nearby schools.
Can I pay my acceptance fee online?
Your school will send you details about how to pay your enrolment acceptance fee once you have accepted your offer of enrolment.
Is my data safe?
All data you provide online is securely collected and kept confidential to ensure your privacy is protected in line with our Privacy Policy.
