Marcus left Marist College Eastwood last year has recently received a well deserved scholarship at University of Technology Sydney.
During his time at the College Marcus has shown remarkable leadership skills and a passion for social justice as a multifaceted individual. He was appointed Leader of the College Representative Council, Student Wellbeing and Peer Support, and co-led the Senior and Junior College leadership teams. He demonstrated his ability to communicate with community leaders and organise social justice initiatives.
Marcus is also a talented public speaker, having won the CSDA public competition in 2020, beating over 120 other repsentatives. He was an ambassador for the Caritas Australia initiative “Project Compassion” and served as the treasurer for the College’s St Vincent De Paul Society. Despite his impressive extracurricular achievments, Marcus remains focused on his academics and ranked in the top 3 in 4 of his subjects taken. Outside of school, Marcus enjoys playing soccer and guitar.
